On 9 August 2009 the Ezakheni Women together with Superintendent Sbongile Mthembu celebrated Women's Day in style.They had a Prayer Day where different issues were discussed: crime, how a woman can fight poverty and remembering those who had been caught up by HIV and Aids. Various guest speakers from different church denominations spoke. Mrs Lindiwe Phungula from the 'Masiwe Ngedolo' programme at Radio Khwezi was the guest speaker. She spoke on the theme of the day taken from the Bible in Colossians 4 vs 2, 'Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.' Mrs L.V.Phungula was awarded the Women's Day Trophy at the meeting for her programme 'Masiwe Ngedolo'. Lindiwe Phungula with award go to: top of page back to: home page
