Concert by an overseas choir 10 September 2008

The 'Shanty-Choir of the Sailing Club Hamme' of Germany visited South Africa and also gave a concert in Pietermaritzburg. Radio Khwezi was invited and recorded an excellent performance and many interviews with choir members. The choir was founded 21 years ago and sings mainly chants that used to be sung by harbour labourers as well as seamen songs.
