World Vision & Maphumulo Municipality take AIDS-awareness to Stanger Taxi Ranks 8 & 9 June 2007 Thousands of Maphumulo taxi commuters were encouraged to go for HIV/AIDS testing on 8 and 9 June, thanks to an initiative by World Vision and the Maphumulo Municipality who embarked on a campaign launched in Stanger by Mr Stanley Maphosa (World Vision manager) and Mr Dumisani Zubane(Taxi owner). Radio Khwezi reported on the event where World Vision handed out stickers with a message which encouraged people to know their status by going for an HIV test.
