Report by one of the students

On Friday, 16 November, our school, Wartburg Kirchdorf, was privileged to have the world breaststroke swimming champion, Miss Penny Heyns, as our honoured guest speaker at our annual Senior Prize Giving ceremony.
We were encouraged by her testimony of how she trusted in God throughout her swimming career.
We were pleasantly entertained by the Brass Band and the School Choir, after which the head prefects, Quinton Hohls and Sarah Baxter, were announced for 2002.
For a year of hard work, many pupils were awarded with well-deserved prizes.
And so we end the year, bearing in mind that each one of us has talents, which we should use to the honour of God!

L. Joosten, pupil at Wartburg Kirchdorf School
