Radio Khwezi
celebrates Women´s Day
Thokozile Jili, popular Radio Khwezi personality, was invited to be the master of
ceremonies at the National Women's Day celebrations held at Nkandla Stadium and
facilitated by Nkandla hospital.The theme of the day was Women and Economy. The occasion
was a huge success with over 500 members of the community present.The guest of honour was
His Highness Inkosi B. P. Biyela, the Chairperson of Nkandla Regional Authority and MP.
Entertainment was provided by among others, Heroes of Faith gospel singers and
Isicathamiya Lucky Star. Dignitaries from the Department of Welfare, Department of
Education and Culture and social workers from regional aids committees were present as
well.Our news team also covered Women´s Day events
in Kranskop and Greytown with live crossings for our midday current affairs show.
