The solar eclipse in the Khwezi broadcast area
on Thursday 21 June 2001 lasted from 13:45 until 16:05.
It reached a climax at 15:05 where 60% of the sun was
covered by the moon. The Radio Khwezi listeners were
informed about the event and warned about the danger
of looking into the sun.
