How do people begin to sing
together? In the case of Ross and Margot Brownrigg, in the second year of their marriage,
Ross bought a guitar impulsively and decided to justify the cost by taking guitar lessons.
One lesson and the chord sheet became the foundation of accompaniment to singing
folk songs and later gospel songs. Margot then began to join in, and slowly invitations to
sing became more frequent. By and large these are message songs rather than worship songs.
Some are hymns with different tunes and some are original compositions, but all contain a
message that goes deep to the heart of any who are prepared to prayerfully consider the
words. |
